This notice explains how the OpenURL tool at openurl.top handles information.
Links and imported files
Pasted URLs and imported TXT or CSV contents are processed in your browser. The tool does not upload these lists or file contents to our server. When you use Paste, the tool requests browser permission to read clipboard text. File import reads only the files you select.
Local storage
OpenURL stores your current URL draft and your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. This lets you return to your list on the same browser and device. Select Clear to remove the saved draft, or use your browser’s site-data controls to remove all saved OpenURL data. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view the saved list.
Website requests and operational logs
Loading openurl.top sends ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested address, and request time, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting and security systems may retain this information in operational logs. This is separate from the URL list processed by the tool.
Opening other websites
When you choose to open links, your browser connects to the destination websites. Those websites receive information associated with your visit and apply their own privacy and cookie policies. OpenURL does not control those websites.
Advertising and analytics
This version of the OpenURL template does not include third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If those services are added, this notice will need to describe the services used and any applicable choices before they are enabled.
Your choices
You can use the tool without creating an account. You can avoid clipboard access by typing or pasting directly into the text box, remove a saved draft using Clear, and control pop-ups and site storage through your browser settings. Avoid placing sensitive or confidential information in a shared browser.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the service’s data practices change. The published notice should identify its latest effective date.
